Reality Series Produced by NALIPster Director/Writer Team Ernesto Quintero and Diana M. Perez Premieres

Ernesto Quintero (Higher Ground Entertainment), director/executive producer and Dianna M. Perez, writer of The Mun2 Hook Up first met in 1999 at the first NALIP conference in San Francisco, CA. The two shared a vision of producing projects that inspired and create social change. “The Mun2 Hook Up”, which helps young people get ‘hooked up” with top professionals fits perfectly with this vision Higher Ground was contracted to produce the 13 episode mun2 created series with Quintero attached as director/executive producer and Perez slated as the writer/co-producer.

This fresh, new Mun2 series hooks up young, ambitious Latinos by introducing them to successful Latino professionals in their industry of choice. With the guidance of experts raging from celebrities like Sabrina Bryan and athletes like Tony Gonzalez, to musicians like Beto Cuevas and Frankie J and influential leaders in their fields like Dr. Alfredo Quinones the former farm worker turned brain surgeon of John Hopkins, these young apprentices explore and get a new appreciation for their dream job. Once paired up, their Latino role models provide them with invaluable, real-life advice. Their skills are put to the test as they get a reality check on what it really takes to succeed in their field of interest. For some it’s a wake up call. For others it’s the experience of a lifetime. The Mun2 Hook Up airs every Wednesday night at 10pm Pacific Standard Time on Mun2. Episodes simultaneously premier on the website: www.holamun2.com/hookup
