Conference VI - Latino Media Market: "Latino Media Market
NALIP�s 2005 Latino Media Market is designed to bring Latino Projects together with Funders, Filmmakers together with Dealmakers, and Talent together with Employers. The Latino Media Market consists of a Meeting Series for up to 40 producers selected to meet one-on-one with industry representatives who can commission pilot scripts or production, provide broadcast licenses or documentary completion funds, fund development or production.
Applications will be accepted for projects in these four categories:
� Non-scripted series ideas
� Documentary works-in-progress
� Direct-to-DVD film productions
� Feature development projects
Deadline for Submissions has been extended to January 22, 2005!
All Applicants must be NALIP Members and Registered for Conference VI.
All Applicants must meet the category requirements and have some filmmaking experience.
Select projects will be notified by February 15, and meetings will be scheduled March 4-5, concurrent with Conference VI.

Sí TV SEEKS SUBMISSIONS FOR: NOT-SO-FOREIGN FILMMAKERS SHOWCASE
New Network in Search of Independent Films
Los Angeles (June 1, 2004)-- Sí TV, a new English-language Latino cable network that launched nationally on February 25, 2004, is seeking entries for its Not-So-Foreign Filmmakers Showcase to license for its Fall 2004 programming schedule and continuing in 2005. The channel is considering independent films, both short and feature length, by, about and/or featuring Latinos, Asians, or Blacks with subject matter appealing to an adult 18-34 audience.
Each film must be submitted by the person or company authorized to distribute the film. All entries must be submitted on VHS or DVD and will not be reviewed unless accompanied by a synopsis as well as a Submissions Release Form, which can be found at www.SiTV.com.
