It is our great pleasure to extend you an invitation to the Americas on behalf of the Benidorm International Song Festival, Spain, celebrating this year its 37th edition on June 11th and 12th.

As most of you know, the Benidorm International Song Festival is a legend amongst the greatest music festivals in the world. It has been a platform for the launching of artists since the 60_s.  This year, prizes reach the amount of 18,000 Euros.

From the Benidorm International Song Festival some the biggest names in Spanish music have emerged, becoming household names around the world. Record labels and Industry Executives meet there every year.

¡BOOM! Magazine is coordinating the preliminary round to be held in Miami, FL, April 3rd for talents in the Americas.

If you are interested, please visit the official Internet site of the contest: http://www.musicfestivalfbenidorm.com , read all the rules for the competition and send your material the way it is required. Soon you_ll be notified of the results of your application. Deadline for entries has been post-poned to March 25.

Please don_t make any travel arrangements until you have received an official invitation from the Benidorm International Song Festival.

The song to participate can be in any language, any genre, from soloist, group or band, but what's important is that it has to be unreleased as a single. It can be recorded previously and included in an album but it cannot have been played on the radio or any other media.

Travel and accommodations to Miami, FL are not covered by the Benidorm International Song Festival.However,  artist/s chosen fro the Miami runner ups will be flown to Spain by the organization of the Benidorm International Song Festival.

Es un placer para nosotros extenderles la convocatoria que acaba de hacerse para las Américas del Festival Internacional de la Canción de Benidorm, España, que este año celebra su 37 edición el próximo 11 y 12 de junio.

Como muchos saben, el Festival de Benidorm es una leyenda en cuanto a eventos musicales de gran magnitud a nivel mundial, plataforma de lanzamiento de grandes figuras desde los años 60, con premios que actualmente alcanzan hasta los 18,000 Euros.  De allí han surgido las más grandes figuras de la música española y ahora también las del mundo entero.  Sellos disqueros y ejecutivos de la industria se dan cita allí.

Se van a realizar eliminatorias en Miami, Florida el 3 de Abril, por lo que ¡BOOM! Magazine estará cordinando dicha actividad para el Festival.

Si están interesados, por favor ingresen a la página oficial del certamen:

http://www.musicfestivalofbenidorm.com y lean las bases del concurso, llenen el formulario y envíen el material tal y como es solicitado.  Pronto recibirán los resultados de su aplicación.  La fecha limite para enviar los demos se ha ampliado hasta el 25 de marzo.

No hagan planes hasta no recibir una invitación formal para venir a Miami.

La canción participante puede ser en cualquier idioma, género, solista, grupo o banda, lo importante es que sea inédita; puede haber sido grabada y estar en un disco, pero no haber sonado nunca en radio ni en ningún otro medio.

El viaje y estadía a Miami corre bajo cuenta del talento. Sin embargo, la banda que sea seleccionada, tras las eliminatorias de Miami, será trasladado/a a España por la organización del festival.

Anímense, esta podría ser la oportunidad que tanto están buscando.
