Citius, Altius, Fortius - faster, higher, stronger - is the motto of the World Games, the International Sport event held under the patronage of the IOC. The motto very well resumes the three disciplines of Sport Climbing: Speed, Lead, and Boulder.

Sport Climbing will be present in Kaohsiung, Chinese Taipei, with Lead and Speed. The climbing events will take place on July 18th and 19th, 2009.

The climbers who are going to compete in the World Games are the representatives of the excellence of the sport, and have been selected through the most important sport climbing competitions, such as World Cups and Continental Championships.
