Common uses

This medicine is an antihistamine used to treat the symptoms of hay fever and other allergic conditions such as watery eyes, runny nose, itching eyes, and sneezing. It may also be used to treat hives. This medicine may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.
Allergic Rhinitis: Clarinex Tablets 5 mg are indicated for the relief of the nasal
and non-nasal symptoms of allergic rhinitis (seasonal and perennial) in patients 12
years of age and older.
Chronic Idiopathic Urticaria: Clarinex Tablets are indicated for the symptomatic
relief of pruritus, reduction in the number of hives, and size of hives, in patients with
chronic idiopathic urticaria 12 years of age and older.
