Para ello les envio el  documento recibido 15/08/2006 sobre el resultado del la interpretación numero RFI -047, REFERENTE AL CAPITULO 7.4

Interpretation Request: (Reference ISO 9001:2000 Clause 7.4)

              Pregunta: ¿Se aplica  la Cláusula 7.4 a la compra de productos no requeridos por el cliente de la organización si estas compras tienen un efecto en  la realización del producto subsiguiente o en  el  producto final?  (Question: Does Clause 7.4 apply to the purchase of products not intended for the organization’s customer if these purchases have an effect on subsequent product realization or the final product?

 Interpretación propuesta: SÍ. (Proposed Interpretation: YES)

Razón: Todos los productos adquiridos deben cumplir con los requisitos de compra especificados, pero el tipo y alcance del control aplicado al proveedor y al producto adquirido debe depender del impacto del producto  adquirido en la posterior realización del producto o sobre el producto final. ( Rationale: All purchased products must conform to their specified purchase requirements, but the type and extent of the control applied depends on the effect the purchased product has on the final product or product realization process.)
