Dear All

We have received comments from several interested parties that the deadline of 29 June for the expression of interest was difficult to meet, since the May-June period seems to be a very busy one for many design firms.  We have therefore decided to extend the deadline from 29 June to 15 September, with the announcement of selected projects extended to 15 October.

This extension will not adversely affect the assessment process that will be carried out by the proponents, since the assessment results are not due until 31 May, 2008.

Please recall that this is not a competition, but rather a process to winnow down potential projects to a manageable number, taking into account location, building type and assessment method.
