Nuffic, the Netherlands Organization for International Cooperation in Higher Education, is to launch StudentBase on 27 October 2007. StudentBase is an online community for international students who are planning to study, are studying or have finished their studies in the Netherlands . It is also for Dutch students who plan to study abroad or are already doing so. StudentBase allows you to create a profile and then post your photos, details of your studies, where you live and study, and other stuff about yourself. You can also create your own blog and take part in discussions on the forums. In short, it¢s an easy way to get in touch with other students and alumni to share information and experiences about studying in the Netherlands .
StudentBase needs members. With your help, we¢ll be using the time before the launch to test, create profiles, discussions and blogs. Get started now by adding your profile. Then you can get blogging and engage in discussions on the forums. Sign up, log in and immediately get in touch with other students and alumni to share information and experiences about studying in Holland ! If you encounter any problems when signing up, creating your profile or using any of the services, let the StudentBase team know straight away. Any comments, questions and criticisms are welcome. Just click on the Help menu on the StudentBase homepage. The FAQ¢s are not fully operational yet, but you can also fill in a contact form and ask us your question or post your comment.
